Made of

Recore Light Floor has phenolic glass fiber reinforced structure, the panels consist of number of layers of foamed fiber composites compressed during high temperature into a laminate with hard reinforced topcoat.

Basic properties

Extremely lightweight but very durable structure with increased mechanical properties, with good noise isolation and excellent vibration resistance, conduct a wi-fi and cellular signal. The Recore Light floor is a new generation composite floor, in thicknesses 15, 18 mm and can meet high value of Flexural modulus. Recore Industries AB has certifications and product tests: including Railway EN 45545-2: 2015, Marine MED-B, MED-D from Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and ISO 9001:2015.

Used as

Recore Light Floor is perfect suitable as a floor for railway, metro and tram cars, automotive solutions (busses, motorhomes, campers, electric vehicles) and for ships and vessels. Recore Light Floor is lightweight, excellent vibration resistance and can be a part of a floor heating system.
Consistency of fiber composite structure in Recore panels offers a possibility for making a different connection – joints. Reliable and simple connections between panels assure a long life without maintenance. Our solution offers customers many benefits such as excellent vibration absorption, increased passenger safety and comfort, and easy assembly procedure. Recore Light Floor can be covered with different types of materials: metal (aluminum), HPL, nylon flock, fiberglass, veneer etc. for achieving anti scratch resistance, for decorative and for other purposes.
