Lightweight and fire-resistant phenolic
composite panel

Made of

Recore P is phenolic composite panels and consist of number of layers of foamed fiber composites compressed during high temperature into a laminate. The main components of the foam layer are thermosetting plastic and fiberglass. The material composition gives the panel low weight, high stiffness, dimensional stability, fire resistance, as well as resistance to moisture and chemicals and makes it very easy to process.

Basic properties

High rigidity, dimensional stability, low weight, good thermal insulation, excellent sound insulation and good fire properties, conduct a wi-fi and cellular signal, water resistant. Combines strength, low weight and fire safety in the same material. Recore Industries AB has certifications and product tests: including Railway EN 45545-2: 2015, Marine MED-B, MED-D from Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and ISO 9001:2015.

Used as

Partition walls, tables, doors, ventilation and air ducts and any types of finishing elements, incl. floors with HPL & aluminum surface. Recore panels can be covered with different types of materials: metal (aluminum), HPL, nylon flock, fiberglass, veneer etc. for achieving anti scratch resistance, for decorative and for other purposes.
